ART BUzz...

Come see our watercolor paintings at Rock Paper Scissors in Old Town Sqaure, 300 North Mead, Wichita, Kansas | July 2nd thru September 3rd, 2007

The Annual is a painting we wanted to create for a long time to reproduce as a
post card in celebration of National Breast Cancer Awareness month. During
October 2006 we sent a large mailing out to recipients throughout the United
States. As Chloe would remind us, "Early Detection Saves Lives". The actual
painting was shown at Boostem Gallery in Eldorado, Ks through the month of
October as part of a "phobias" show.

Lisa's "The Pond" and Laura's "Tequila Sunflower East" were both chosen to be part of the Wichita Art's Councils Annual Juried Show for 2006. Both pieces were on display at City Arts throughout October, 2006.

Last summer "Koiplosion" was featured at an outdoor garden party before its installation in a japanese garden in Oklahoma City.

Our first Chloe piece was designed and created for a fund raiser to benefit organizations helping those with AIDS. The piece "Chloe would rather be eating a little debbie" or ("Vodka soaked ho-ho dreams") created a buzz and was a great success during the live auction. We were very excited about the response and are pleased that our piece contributed to the overall success of an awesome event.

Cheesecake Exhibition-ism was a gallery show in April 2006 at Commerce Gallery in Wichita Kansas. Two Chloe pieces were designed specifically for this group showing: "Ruby Red" and "Marmalade". The theme of this show was the cover of girlie magazines, an avenue we had never considered taking Chloe down but she's an adventurous gal!

We are currently working our tails off to create a lot more buzz...
